Cut-resistant gloves are a fine 13-gauge knit for great touch sensitivity combined with excellent protection against cut hazard. Made with Dyneema, this style is rated ASTM cut-level 3. (Gloves withstood 1175 grams of cut force during ASTM F1790 Š—È05 test.) Palms are coated with foamed PVC for a lightweight, puncture-resistant coating that improves grip in wet and oily conditions. This coating also supports cut-resistance over the life of the glove by boosting abrasion resistance. And, PVC resists most adhesives, for applications involving this in combination with cut hazard, such as automotive.
